Y. -- The Mid-Hudson Radio-Control Society is celebrating 50 years of the R/C Jamboree with a special weekend of events Sept. 9-11 that includes the Jamboree, an anniversary dinner and a special award for the Old Rhinebeck Aerodome, which has hosted the annual event.More than 100 giant-scale and radio-controlled model airplanes will be flying from 11 a.m. to dusk Friday, Sept. 9, and 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 10 and 11, just prior to the full-scale airshows at the Aerodome on both days.
