Worcester Man Murdered 4-Year-Old Daughter, Abused 2 Other Kids: DA A Worcester man has been charged with killing his 4-year-old daughter and harming two others, authorities said.  Francisco Ortiz, 34, of Worcester, was indicted by a grand jury and charged with one count of murder and one count of improper storage of a firearm. Manchester Police, DEA Raid Apartment in Fentanyl, Cocaine Bust Manchester police, working with federal DEA agents, executed a drug raid that led to the arrest of a local man accused of operating a drug factory and dealing dangerous narcotics, including fentanyl. The East Central Narcotics Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Hartford Regional Office carried out a series of search warrants at an apartment at 88-7 Oak Street in Manchester.  The focus of the investigation was Derrick Lee, a 25-year-old from Manchester, authorities said. 1 Dead, Another Hurt In North Branford Crash; Police Investigating One person was killed and another was severely injured following a two-car crash in North Branford Monday morning, June 20.  North Branford police were called to 999 Foxon Road just after 10 a.m.  One driver sustained critical injuries in the crash, and paramedics rushed him to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.  Authorities are withholding his identity until they can notify his family.  Responders also took the second driver to the hospital, but their injuries were considered minor, police said.  The crash is under investigation.  …

Glen Chadwell, of Pittsfield, admitted on Monday, June 16, to one count of kidnapping and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over age 14, the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office said.
