Missing Danbury Teen Swimmer Dies After Police Rescue A missing Connecticut teenager who was rescued in Danbury over the weekend has died, authorities said.  Danbury police rescued the unidentified teen in the Long Ridge Road area around 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 5. Authorities rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors were unable to save the child's life, police said.  "Our thoughts are with the victim's family and loved ones," Danbury police Spokesperson Erin Henry said.
