A 25-year-old woman from Worcester, MA, is facing multiple charges in Connecticut after she was arrested at a courthouse, then ran from troopers while they were trying to take her into custody, according to state police.
Jada Williams was arrested on June 16, around 2:13 p.m., after arriving at Manchester Superior Court while wanted on an active warrant from Troop C – Tolland, State Police said.

Walgreens announced this past fall that it will close about 1,200 stores over three years amid a decline in prescription drug payments and a rise in online competition.

The owners of nearly 90 Dunkin', McDonald's, and Subway restaurants across Massachusetts have been fined for violating child labor laws, officials said.
The three franchisees were cited for violating child labor laws at more than 88 locations, Attorney General Andrea Campbell said in a news release on Tuesday, April 15. The companies punished were Cafua Management Company, The Brewster Company, and Knight Food Service.

Authorities in Worcester have indicted two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old mother and her 11-year-old daughter.
Dejan Belnavis, 27, and Karel Mangual, 28, both of Worcester, were indicted last week on two counts of murder each, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said. They are being held without bail.
