According to authorities, a southbound Honda CRV crossed over the double yellow line and struck a northbound Isuzu box truck head-on. In Putnam County, Route 312 in the town of Southeast is closed to traffic in both directions at the intersection with Interstate 84 late Monday morning, Sept. 25, according to reports.  The closure was caused by a transformer fire in the area.
