Winner: Lucky Powerball Player Takes Home $50,000 In South Jersey
One lucky Powerball player is taking home $50,000 in Central Jersey, state Lottery officials said.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn on Saturday, May 29, to win the third-tier prize.
That ticket was sold at South River Convenience Store, 58 Jackson St., in South River, Middlesex County.
The winning numbers for the Saturday drawing were: 11, 13, 22, 27, and 46.
The Red Power Ball number was 20. The Multiplier number was 02.
The next Powerball jackpot rolls to $268 million for the Wednesday June 2 drawing.

Four winning lottery tickets each good for approximately $101,100 were sold in New Jersey.
The tickets from Saturday's Jersey Cash 5 drawing will split the $404,600 jackpot.
The winning numbers were 03, 07, 11, 19, and 25 and the XTRA number was: 04.

Capitol Riot Suspects Arrested For Assault On Officer Brian Sicknick Grew Up In Central Jersey
A Pennsylvania and West Virginia man -- both natives of Central Jersey -- were arrested Sunday on criminal charges related to their alleged conspiring to injure Capitol Hill police officers, federal officials said.
During the Jan. 6 riot, they allegedly sprayed bear repellant into the faces of three officers, one of whom -- Brian D. Sicknick -- later died, authorities said. Sicknick 42, previously lived in South River, New Jersey.
Sicknick's exact cause of death has never been clarified.

Feds: Newark Wheelman Cops Plea In 7-County Armed Robbery Spree
An ex-con from Newark told a federal judge on Thursday that he was the getaway driver in a string of overnight convenience store and gas station robberies in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Middlesex, Morris and Union counties.
Meshach Whagar, 31, admitted during a video-conferenced plea hearing that he was the wheelman during the 20 predawn holdups in November and December of 2017, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
