A Connecticut motorcyclist was traveling at high speed on an I-91 off-ramp when he lost control of the bike and crashed, killing a 20-year-old woman riding with him, police said.

A teenage motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck in Babylon on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Suffolk County Police said.
An 84-year-old Babylon man was driving a 2022 Chevrolet pickup truck on Tappan Avenue. He was turning onto the eastbound lanes of West Main Street when he struck a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound around 3:08 p.m., police said.
The motorcyclist, identified as Robert Buerkle, 17, of West Babylon, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

The search is on for a driver who struck and killed a motorcyclist in Pennsylvania before fleeing the scene.The York County collision happened in York, at the intersection of South Belvidere Avenue and West King Street, just after 8 p.m. Saturday, June 28, according to York City Police.

At 6:48 a.m., officers responded to Franklin Corner Road and Princeton Pike for a report of a motorcycle crash and found the operator, Benjamin Boyers, unconscious at the scene, Lawrence Township police said.

Brenda Ingraham, of Farmingville, was riding a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja northbound on Blue Point Road when a southbound 2018 Ford Explorer attempted to turn left onto Pinedale Avenue, colliding with her around 1:17 p.m., police said.
