La Plata Man Busted With Guns, Cocaine, Pills Released Days Later: Sheriff
A Maryland man caught with guns, cocaine, and hundreds of pills in a La Plata home was released just days after his arrest, according to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
Bruce Robinson, 57, was taken into custody in late May after narcotics detectives served a search warrant at a home in the 7700 block of Weatherly Place, officials said on Thursday, June 19.
During the search, investigators recovered a "substantial amount of illegal drugs and multiple unregistered weapons," including:

Heather Ann D’Angelo, 41, of Waldorf, was charged with multiple drug offenses after narcotics detectives seized over $4,000 worth of street drugs from her car and home during a search late last month, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday, June 11.

A man released from police custody on accusations he raped, assaulted, and handcuffed a house cleaner in August was shot and killed by officers in Charles County, authorities said.
Officers responding to reports of an assault on the 7300 block of Tottenham Drive found Jordan Proctor, 30, inside and wearing a mask around 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, the Maryland Attorney General said. Following a two-year investigation, three men were nabbed running an alleged unlicensed used car dealership in the region.
In Dutchess County, the trio -- Raed Nesheiwat, age 57; Lakeia Parker, age 41, and Marceise Livesay, age 26 -- were arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Poughkeepsie.
According to Water McClure of the state Division of Motor Vehicles, the investigation found that the three sold more than 150 vehicles out of a building and parking lot at 20-22 Pershing Ave., in Poughkeepsie, without a legitimate dealer license.

Three teenagers were arrested on this week after stealing a vehicle and leading police on a pursuit last month in Secaucus, authorities said.
On Sunday, June 16, at 4:57 a.m., police spotted a teen breaking into an Audi Q5 and Jeep Wrangler, parked at a residence on the 600 block of 4th Street, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
