Two New York men were arrested in Teaneck after police say they were caught trying to sell a stolen luxury car that was not only missing from New York City, but was riding on stolen plates from Connecticut.
Michael J. Mendez, 29, of Glendale, and Zyon M. Maynard, 20, of Brooklyn, were stopped around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27, near Frank W. Burr Boulevard, according to Teaneck Police Chief Andrew R. McGurr.

Allison Eichner, a U.S. citizen from Connecticut, died Wednesday, June 11, in a one-vehicle crash in the Causeway Road area of Bushmills, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

A smoked fish recall is affecting more than 70 grocery stores across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut due to a life-threatening botulism risk, health officials said.
P. East Trading Corp., based in The Bronx, NY, issued the recall on Tuesday, June 10, the Food and Drug Administration said. State inspectors found that P. East's Salted Smoked Split Herring was uneviscerated and longer than five inches.
