Teen Missing From Twp Of Hamilton: Police A 15-year-old Mays Landing girl is missing, authorities announced Monday, July 14. Isabella Mattei is 5’0” and weighs 123 lbs. with brown eyes, ear piercings and a nose piercing, Township of Hamilton police said. Mattei was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Township of Hamilton Police Department at 609-625-2700 ext 1, police said.

DUI Reckless Driver Arrested Following Crash: Denville PD A 41-year-old Morristown man was arrested and charged for driving under the influence following a crash in Denville on Friday, July 11, authorities said. Officers responded to a crash on East Main Street near Estling Lake Road, Denville police said. One of the drivers was identified as Manuel Callechimborazo and he exhibited multiple signs of impairment, Denville police said. Callechimborazo was placed under arrest for driving under the influence and charged with careless driving, consent to take breath samples, refusal to submit to chemical testing and reckless driving, police said.

10 People Stole EBT Card Info To Buy Energy Drinks: Middlesex County Prosecutor Ten people have been arrested and charged with skimming people’s Electronic Benefits Transfer card accounts across five New Jersey counties, Pennsylvania and New York, authorities announced Monday, July 14. Pittsgrove Resident Killed In Route 40 Crash A 32-year-old Pittsgrove man who worked as an elementary school custodian in Penns Grove was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 40 in Salem County on Thursday, July 10, authorities said. At 1:13 p.m., troopers responded to Route 40 in Pilesgrove Township after a Dodge pickup truck attempting to make left turn on County Route 619 crashed into a Ford pickup truck traveling westbound, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. Cyclist Struck By Careless Driver: Readington Twp PD A 67-year-old Branchburg cyclist was injured after he was struck by a vehicle in Readington on Saturday, July 12, authorities said. At 11:20 a.m., officers responded to County Route 620 and Thor Solberg Road and found the cyclist lying alert and conscious in the middle of the intersection, Readington Township police said. Bomb Threat At NJ JCC Unfounded, Summer Camp Evacuated: Scotch Plains Police The JCC of Central Jersey had to be evacuated on Monday, July 14, following a report of a bomb threat, authorities said. JCC staff contacted officers after receiving an e-mail indicating that explosive devices had been planted at the facility and were set to detonate, Scotch Plains police said. Woman Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Newark: Prosecutor A 62-year-old Newark woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while crossing the street late Friday, July 11, authorities said. At 11:46 p.m., Jessica Perez was struck by a black Toyota Camry at 978 Frelinghuysen Ave, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. Woman Drowns At Denville Beach: Prosecutor A 33-year-old woman drowned at a New Jersey beach on Sunday, July 13, authorities said. At 5:50 p.m., first responders responded to Cedar Lake Beach in Denville after the woman was observed unresponsive by other swimmers, who called 9-1-1, a spokesperson for the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. The woman, who was not identified, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and pronounced dead, authorities said. No foul play is suspected, authorities said. The incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
