NJ DPW Employee Injured By Saw Sees Outpouring Of Support David Allan, a department of Public Works employee in Chatham was injured by a cut-off saw on Thursday morning, June 26, according to a fundraiser set up to support him. Allan was rushed to Morristown Memorial Hospital, underwent immediate surgery and is in intensive care with a temporary tracheotomy and remains on a ventilator. Allan is unable to eat or drink anything, nor can he speak. Allan is expected to remain in the hospital for two weeks. Man Fatally Shot In Atlantic City: Police A 40-year-old man was fatally shot in Atlantic City Thursday evening, June 26, authorities said. At 8:53 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to a report of a man lying in the sidewalk outside the Shore Park apartments at 225 N. Virginia Ave., the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
