2 Manchester Teens Stabbed In Knife Fight At Popular Park; Police Ask For Tips A fight at a popular Connecticut park ended with two 16-year-old boys stabbed and police asking neighbors to come forward with any information. Police say the trouble began near the pavilion at Charter Oak Park in Manchester between 4:30 and 5 p.m. on Monday, July 7. After the clash, one teen ran to the Dunkin’ on Center Street and said he had been stabbed in the chest. He was treated by first responders and taken to the hospital. He has since been released. Waterbury Man Arrested Following Fatal Stabbing, Slashing Outside Home: Police Police say a Connecticut man has surrendered following a deadly stabbing outside a home last month. Jose Ayala, 50, has been charged with first-degree murder in the attack that killed 47-year-old Samuel Lopez and slashed another man across the face outside a home on Washington Street in Waterbury on June 28, authorities said. Missing Danbury Teen Swimmer Dies After Police Rescue A missing Connecticut teenager who was rescued in Danbury over the weekend has died, authorities said. Danbury police rescued the unidentified teen in the Long Ridge Road area around 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 5.
