A North Jersey widow says a psychic took advantage of her grief over her husband's death, convincing her to hand over $78,500 in cash and personal belongings for rituals to “cleanse” his spirit, according to a new lawsuit attached at the bottom of this news article.
Marisol Meza, of Hawthorne, filed the lawsuit against Holly Stanley, Psychic Readings, Psychic Readings by Holly, and unidentified defendants in New Jersey Superior Court in Bergen County on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

A desperate search by air and sea has ended in tragedy.
The bodies of four members of a Miami family were recovered on Tuesday, Sept. 8, after their Florida-bound private plane went down near the Bahamas, family members told ABC News and NBC 6 South Florida.
The victims were identified as pilot Mario Lamar Sr., 80; his wife, Lili Lamar, 79; and their grandchildren, Sofia “Sofi” Sosa, 28, and Christian Sosa, 22.
Relatives and civilian boaters found the family members and brought their bodies aboard their own vessels, according to a family statement provided to the outlets.

Barn Roof Hurled Through Graveyard As NWS Confirms 3 More PA Tornadoes
Three more tornadoes ripped through four Pennsylvania counties less than two weeks after four twisters battered York and Lancaster counties, the National Weather Service confirmed on Friday, Sept. 4.
All three tornadoes from the Tuesday, Sept. 1 storms were rated EF1. They carved a combined 8.45-mile path through Potter, Tioga, Montour, and Lancaster counties, according to the NWS.
No injuries or deaths were reported.

Andy Williams, the guitarist for the band "Every Time I Die" who became a professional wrestler known as "The Butcher," has died after collapsing at the end of a match in Pennsylvania, industry organizations confirm. He was 48 years old.
Williams collapsed Saturday evening, Sept. 5, during a show at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Millvale, located outside of Pittsburgh, according to the promoter, Enjoy Wrestling.
