Brandon Extecoc Santos, 20, of Parkville, was arrested on Friday, April 19, in connection with the "street takeover" Easter Sunday, Fairfax County police announced. Santos was charged with abduction, assault on a law enforcement officer, wearing a mask in public, and obstruction of justice. The man was found by officers responding to reports of an injured person in an apartment on the 900 block of North Henry Street around 3:25 a.m. Monday, April 22, the Alexandria Police Department said. The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. No further information was released.

The victim was walking near Fairmount Avenue and Anvil Drive between 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 19 and 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, when she was grabbed by a complete stranger, Prince William County police said. The man forced the victim into a nearby wooded area where she was sexually assaulted. The two eventually separated, and the victim called the police.
