A 71-year-old Bergen County driver admitted drinking alcohol before crashing into a parked car, overturning his vehicle, and leaving his passenger critically injured, according to court documents.
Yun S. Kang, of Cliffside Park, was driving a 2018 Kia on Queen Anne Road near Maple Street in Bogota on Friday, Oct. 30, when he struck a parked vehicle, causing his Kia to overturn, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Bogota Police Detective G. Hondros.

US Sen. Chris Murphy was hospitalized after a medical emergency, and his office shared an encouraging update on his condition.
The 53-year-old Connecticut Democrat suffered a stroke Saturday, Oct. 31, after experiencing arm numbness while attending his son’s hockey game, his chief of staff, Allison Herwitt, said in a statement.
