PA Man Dies 3 Days After House Fire: Coroner A 68-year-old Pennsylvania man died three days after he was critically injured in a house fire, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 28. Ronald T. Avery, of Bloomsburg, was caught in the fire in the 200 block of Ridge Street in Scott Township, Columbia County, around 5:40 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said. Avery was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead at 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24. An autopsy completed Saturday determined that Avery died from smoke inhalation with complications. His death was ruled accidental.…
