Now, the search for missing Virginia teacher Ian Treger has ended in heartbreak after his family confirmed his body was found in Peru more than six weeks after he vanished while preparing for a solo hike through the Andes.
Treger, of Lexington, was last heard from on Wednesday, May 13, while in Cusco, Peru, where he had been preparing to trek one of the region's historic Andean trails.

Bristow native Jamal Dana Allen has been charged for his alleged role in the murder of Michael Sakyi Jr., 18, who was shot and killed in a targeted shooting in Manassas, the Prince William County Police Department announced on Thursday, July 2.
