Brandon A. Riccobono, 18, surrendered himself to the sheriff’s office Thursday after a grand jury handed down an indictment for Riccobono Nov. 5, according to officials.
Riccobono is accused of recklessly causing Feller’s death while attempting to escape a bad drug deal on Livingston St. in Rhinebeck July 6. He is also accused of leaving the scene after causing the fatal injuries to Feller, officials say.
He was arrested and arraigned before Dutchess County Court Judge Peter Forman, and has been charged with:
- Manslaughter in the second degree, a class C felony
- Criminal possession of a forged instrument, a class C felony
- Leaving the scene of a fatality, a class D felony
- Petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor
Riccobono was released to electronic monitoring subject to $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond, according to the report.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau in conjunction with the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.
