The thefts, which occurred on at least two occasions in late December, took place when the man purchased $3,700 worth of items while using the victim's Best Buy credit card number, police said.

State police investigators are asking the public to help identify the man, whose likeness was released Thursday in surveillance photos from one of the stores.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact state police Investigator Stacey M. Cassels-Vetter at 845-298-0952 or 845-677-7300. Calls can be kept confidential.
