Earlier this year, New York State Police troopers launched an investigation into 52-year-old Fishkill resident John Barberan, which would ultimately reveal that he stole more than $1,300 from his employer the past two months.
Barberan was arrested by troopers from the Wappinger barracks and charged with a felony count of fourth-degree grand larceny. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in the Town of Wappinger Court on Oct. 19 to answer the charge.
