RHINEBECK, N.Y. – Shawn S. McMichael, a resident of Rhinebeck, died Thursday, July 21. He was 51.
He was born Jan. 26, 1965, in Poughkeepsie, and was raised in Rhinebeck. He graduatead from Rhinebeck High School in 1983 and Delhi University in 1987.
He returned to Rhinebeck to start his own business, Airtek Mechanical. He was a successful entrepreneur and will be missed dearly by all of his friends and associates.
He is survived by his mother Judy (Piplow) McMichael; wife Francine McMichael; brother Steven McMichael; son Blake; daughter Grace; step-son Scott Oatkin; all of his in-laws;, his dear friend and co-worker Scott Cameron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Funeral Services takes place at 11 a/m/ Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 371 Wurtembrug Road, Rhinebeck. Interment will be in the Wurtemburg Cemetery.
