RHINEBECK, N.Y. – Gretchen Williams, a resident of Rhinebeck, died Friday, July 8. She was 68.
Born May 22, 1948, in Rhinebeck, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Hill) Waldron.
She graduated from Stissing Mountain High School in Pine Plains. She enjoyed gardening but her real job in life was her family. After raising her family, she worked in the Baptist Home in Rhinebeck for more than 20 years. On June 8, 1968, she married Robert Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie Williams; son, Kyle Williams; and granddaughter, Emelia Williams-Dazi.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Williams.
