HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Doris M. Ferris O'Brien, of Hyde Park, died on Saturday, Dec. 24. She was 76.
She was born on May 3, 1940 in Poughkeepsie. On Aug. 18, 1963, she married James O'Brien, who predeceased her on Dec. 21, 2010.
She is survived by her son, James O'Brien; daughter, Denise Bertomeu; and grandchildren, Colin and Rachel Bertomeu.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, her family respectfully requests memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.
