The woman was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
Rhinebeck's fire and police departments responded to the crash just after 11:30 a.m.
Fire department medical personnel entered the vehicle to stabilize the driver and render medical assistance during extrication procedures, which included removing the car's roof. The driver was then safely extricated from the vehicle.
Apparently the driver lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a parked car and then rolled over in the middle of the street, authorities said.
Rhinebeck police department is continuing the investigation as to the cause.
The Rhinebeck FD ambulance transported the driver to MidHudson Regional Hospital for further medical examination and treatment.. Assisting at the scene was Northern Dutchess Paramedics.
