Student Claims Bullying On Bus Before Being Left Stranded

PINE BUSH, N.Y. -- An 18-year-old special-needs student from Orange County says he was taunted before being kicked off his bus last month, according to News 12.

Justin Maxwell is saying he was left stranded to walk on Route 17 by a school bus driver after he had a bowel movements on board as a result of a medical condition. Sherri Maxwell, his mother, said that he has ulcerative colitis and that two adult aides on the bus did nothing to help him on the First Student Bus Company vehicle, according to News 12 Hudson Valley.

Justin was eventually picked up by a family friend who recognized him walking on the street. There is no video of the incident but the family has hired an attorney and filed a lawsuit, according to News 12.
