Mary Tobin, the mentor who graduated from West Point, spoke with the students and claims the act was benign. The academy is currently looking into the photo to see if it broke any academy rules on political activism. The photo featured black female cadets at a school where 70 percent of enrollment is white and 80 percent is male. Graduation is scheduled for May 21 and there is no timeline for the inquiry to be resolved, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.
