A longtime Hudson Valley radio personality has signed off for the final time, after being let go by Poughkeepsie-based Mix 97.7 FM after nearly a decade at the station.

Mark Bolger, a radio host at Mix 97.7 since 2011, has been let go. His former co-host, Taylor Dickson, has now taken over the morning drive.

Bolger, formerly a personality at K104, fired on Feb. 9. Officials from the station declined to comment on why Bolger is no longer with Mix 97.7.

He’s been a fixture on Hudson Valley radio for decades, having served previous stints at other local station, including a 13-year run at WBWZ.

An interview with Bulger on his departure with Hudson Valley News Network's Charlie Cornacchio can be viewed above.
