Tivoli Library Workshop Teaches Sound Recording, Editing

TIVOLI, N.Y. -- The Tivoli Free Library will host "Radio from the Field," a free workshop on environmental sound recording and audio editing, on two Wednesdays, Dec. 2 and 9, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Max Goldfarb, mobile studio manager for Wave Farm's WGXC, will work with participants on how to create field recordings, edit audio and construct projects using free sound editing software. 

Participants will produce a short, radio-ready piece that will become part of Wave Farm's WGXC's archive. No experience is necessary for the workshop.
