Barley Hops And Grapes Throws Birthday Bash In Red Hook

RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Barley Hops and Grapes, local purveyor of home beer brewing and wine making equipment in Red Hook, will celebrate its one-year anniversary on Saturday.

The event will include live music, tastings, hors d'oeuvres and discounted merchandise.

"Dutchess is my home; I grew up here," said Barley Hops and Grapes owner Tom Folster. "I've lived [in] a lot of other places in my life, but I've always come back to the Hudson Valley. "One year is a very important milestone; many businesses don't make it though their first year. That's why I thought it was important to celebrate."
