Rounds Of Storms Will Bring Relief From Heat In Hudson Valley

Hudson Valley residents will soon see some relief from the humidity and sweltering heat that has gripped the area the last few days.

Storms should arrive late Saturday night and continue on and off through Monday.

It will come after a cold front moves through the area that will be accompanied by showers and thunderstorms overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Some of the storms may be severe, especially south of I-287.

Saturday will be cloudy with high humidity and the temperature reaching upper 80s.

Storms are expected to arrive late Saturday night through the overnight hours Sunday morning.

A new round of storms could pass through late Sunday morning until early Sunday afternoon.

Sunday will be a mostly cloudy day with a high in the lower 80s.

More storms are expected after 7 p.m. Sunday and again during the day Monday, which will be mostly cloudy with a high near 80.

It will clear out Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and a high in the upper 70s.
