Spinzia Defeats Washburn To Remain Rhinebeck Supervisor

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Voters in Rhinebeck gave Democrat incumbent Elizabeth Spinzia another term Tuesday.

Spinzia defeated Republican challenger Bruce Washburn 1,189 votes to 993 votes, 54.49 percent to 45.51 percent.

Democrats Edmond Roberts and Allan Scheer were elected to the town board with 1,323 votes and 1,316 votes, respectively. Republican Sheryl Monaco trailed with 923 votes.

Democrat Barry Sherrod defeated Republican Kyle Eighmy for Highway Superintendent 1,366 votes to 795 votes.
