To the editor,
Like most people I know, mudslinging among candidates turns me off.
I want to know where a candidate stands, what they have achieved, and if they truly care about those they want to represent. I want a representative who is hard working, honest and caring.
Sue Serino falls squarely among those I am happy to support. Sen. Serino always has been approachable and she is genuinely nice.
She’s so different from other politicians, For example, she would rather listen to you than hear herself talk. After that, she spends time with you to figure out how she might be able to help.
In her first year of office, Sen. Serino has vigorously worked to raise awareness on Lyme disease and the heroin crisis. She works closely with law enforcement and our local officials and has had many community events; Sue Serino is our advocate.
So I ask those who are inclined to be negative to think twice before slinging mud and remember that most of us prefer candidates that have something positive to offer.
