The County Legislature adopted the $480 million budget 24-1 Friday. The budget increases spending by 2.8 percent but reduces property taxes.
"We make new investments in services to help children, families, seniors, and veterans," County Executive Marc Molinaro said. "This budget strengthens mental health and addiction services, provides investment in infrastructure and furthers efforts to support those with disabilities. We are grateful for the near-unanimous support, good amendments & partnership in serving you."
