Woman Charged With DWI, Teen With Drug Possession, In Red Hook

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A 40-year-old woman and teenage boy are facing misdemeanor charges in Dutchess County after being busted by the Red Hook Police Department in a pair of incidents.

The Red Hook Police Department announced the arrest of 19-year-old Kingston resident Austin Doyle, who was taken into custody shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday night on South Broadway after being busted in possession of drugs. He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance

On Monday, police also announced the arrest of East Chatham resident Erin Moore, who was busted drinking and driving at approximately 9:45 p.m. Friday night on Old Post Road in Red Hook. She was charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated, both misdemeanors.

Both Doyle and Moore were released on their own recognizance and are due to appear in Village Court at a later date to answer the charges against them.
