Vehicle Flees Scene After Striking Pedestrian In Rhinebeck, Police Say

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- An unknown driver hit a pedestrian Tuesday at around 4 p.m. at 6331 Mill St., in front of the American Legion before fleeing the scene, police said.

Rhinebeck police, who said they are investigating the crime, could not provide information about the victim's injuries.

The Rhinebeck Fire Department and EMS are on the scene.
