HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Two people were hospitalized Thursday after a crash in which one of the cars rolled over.

Dutchess County sheriff's deputies responded to the two-car accident at 9:17 a.m. near the intersection of Violet Avenue and Cronk Place in Hyde Park.

No one was trapped as a result of the crash, according to Capt. John Watterson, a county Sheriff's Office spokesman.

Watterson said two of the accident victims -- both with non-life threatening injuries -- were taken by Emergency Medical Services personnel to area hospitals. One patient was transported  to Vassar Brothers Medical Center and the other to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, he said.
