Six Dutchess Residents Charged With DWI In Four-County Detail

State police made a host of driving while intoxicated arrests in a detail that included Dutchess, Columbia, Putnam and Westchester counties conducted between Friday, Dec. 2 until Sunday, Dec. 4.

Dutchess residents facing charges are:

  • Sean H. Ring of Poughkeepsie, 38, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, by state police in Rhinebeck when troopers stopped the vehicle Ring was operating on Violet Avenue for an equipment violation. He provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .12 percent, police said, and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Hyde Park Court on Dec. 27.
  • Lorena Monagas Garcia of Pawling, 30, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, by state police in Dover after a Route 22 speeding stop. He provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .12 percent, police said, and was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear in the Town of Pawling Court on Dec. 8.
  • Donald P. Fisher of Wappinger, 26, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, by state police in Wappinger after a trooper observed Fisher sleeping behind the wheel at the intersection of All Angels Hill Road and Myers Corners Road. He supplied a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .11 percent and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Wappinger Justice Court on Dec. 13.
  • Demetrio V. Gomez of Pine Plains, 43, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, by state police in Poughkeepse following a one-car property damage auto collision that occurred on the Taconic State Parkway. Gomez provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .16 percent, police said. Gomez was arraigned in the Town of Stanford Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $2,000 cash bail.
  • Christian I. Pulst, of East Fishkill, 37, charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, by state police in Wappinger after a speeding stop on Route 376. Pulst provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .10 percent, police said. He was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Wappinger Court on Dec. 14.
  • Jose Sandoval Manchame of East Fishkill, 32, charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor following a traffic stop by state police in Wappinger conducted at the intersection of Route 52 and Ketcham Drive. He provided a breath sample that revealed a BAC of .19 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication, police said. He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Village of Fishkill Court on Dec. 19.
