School Bus Hits Utility Pole In Town Of Poughkeepsie

Town of Poughkeepsie police are on the scene of a school bus crash with reported injuries.

The crash occurred just before 9 a.m. Wednesday at 2429 New Hackensack Road, Town of Poughkeepsie Police said.

Few details were available at this point, including which school the bus served. First responders report the minibus struck a pole, which snapped in half.

Police are requesting motorists avoid the area until the roadway is cleared, police said.
