Bryce A. Dinunno, 65, was stopped on Pine Hill Road in Pleasant Valley after he made a U-turn on state Route 44 to avoid a road check. Following an interview with Dinunno, troopers observed signs that Dinunno was intoxicated, officials say.

Dinunno was charged with felony DWI when a criminal history check revealed he was convicted of a DWI related offense in June 2008, according to police.

He was arraigned before the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond, according to the report.
