Pawling Woman Charged With Driving While Impaired In Red Hook

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A Pawling woman was charged with driving while impaired after being stopped Saturday in the Village of Red Hook.

Maria D. Peragine, 53, was stopped about 8:20 p.m. on North Broadway by Red Hook Police. During the stop, officers found that she under the influence of drugs and in possession of a controlled substance, as well as marijuana, police said.

Peragine was processed and released on tickets to appear in court at a later date.
