NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- One business of 20 investigated in the Town and Village of New Paltz by New Paltz Police was accused of selling liquor to a minor, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The clerk of that business was reportedly charged with violating the state's Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, the Poughkeepsie Journal article said.

The investigations are aimed to curtail drinking of alcohol by those who are underage, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
