State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested a 47-year-old man for grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony, four days after asking the public's help in an alleged incident involving him.

Police asked the public's help in their investigation of the larceny of a wallet at the Exxon Mobil, located at 1502 Route 55, in the Town of LaGrange, on Monday, June 19 at approximately 9:50 p.m.

John A. Fraioli of Saugerties turned himself over to authorities after observing his picture on social media, police said. Fraioli was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear in the Town of LaGrange Court on July 18.

The State Police would like to thank the public who called in tips to further the investigation. An investigation determined that the other subject depicted in the photographs was not involved in the incident.
