Gardiner Man, 32, Charged With Vehicular Assault

GARDINER, N. Y. -- A Gardiner man is facing vehicular assault charges after a June car accident in Gardiner that severely injured two other people, police said.

New York State Police arrested Kevin J. Coyle, 32, and charged him wit felony first-degree vehicular assault and misdemeanor driving while impaired by drugs. Coyle is being held in the Ulster County Jail on a $2,500 cash bail, police said.

Coyle was arrained in the town of Lloyd court but he's due back Nov. 12 to the town of Gardiner court. 

The charges stem from a June 7 car accident that left two people severely injured, police said.
