Police said the investigation began May 2, after the boy's biological father expressed concern and the boy was brought to the Albany Medical Center for treatment of numerous injuries, according to the Middletown Times-Herald Record.
Most of the defendants were arrested Thursday including Dennis Terwilliger, 38, of Newburgh, Deboara Terwilliger, 37, of Newburgh, Tanya Rae Kling, 32, of Loris, South Carolina and Tonya Lee Krout, 32, of Elmira, according to The Middletown Times-Herald Record.
