He robbed a West Orange TD Bank branch on Pleasant Valley Way around 1:15 Monday afternoon, pointing a semi-automatic handgun at the teller while ordering that cash be placed into a blue canvass bag, the bureau said this morning.
The FBI’s Newark Field Office described him as:
- about 5’10” and 210 pounds;
- having a large build;
- having salt and pepper hair and a goatee;
- wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark sweater, blue jeans, and dark shoes.

The bureau also emphasizsed as always that citizens shouldn’t try to play hero — but, rather, should immediately 911 if they see or know something. Rewards are often paid.
