HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Thomas Agne, 70, of Hyde Park, died Sunday, Oct. 23.

He was born Nov. 23, 1945, in Yonkers, the ninth of 10 children born to Charles and Anna (Dawe) Agne.

He graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 1968, a location where he dated and fell in love with Louise Detjen. After a stint in the Army, which included daily love letters, he returned to marry her July 24, 1971. The two were completely inseparable since, and became proud parents in 1983.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Agne; children: Beth Ann and Justin Saxagne, Michael and Brittany Agne and Paul Agne; sister, Karen and husband, Lenny Cammalleri; and granddaughter, Aurora Saxagne, with two more grandchildren on the way.
