HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Roxane M. Cribley, 82, of Hyde Park, passed away May 29, 2016 at The Renaissance Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Staatsburg.
She was born Dec. 11, 1933, in Poughkeepsie, the daughter of William & Vina Mund McFarland.
She was married to John J. Phillips, who survives.
She was a graduate of Dutchess Community College and was employed for 25 years at Hudson River Psychiatric Center and as a manager of the Brookstone Community Residence in Staatsburg, retiring in 2008.
Cribley was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted her life to caring for the mentally ill.
Survivors include her daughters, Jill Block of Falls Church, Va., Jacqueline (Renato) Semenza of Encinidas, Calif. and Jamie Belding of Hyde Park; grandchildren, Matthew, Renee, Gregory, Michael and Timothy Semenza and Jessica and Nicholas Belding.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Hone Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of The Rosary Chapel of St. Peter's, 299 Hudson View Drive, Poughkeepsie. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery.
