CLINTON CORNERS, N.Y. -- Robert M. Nocket, 63, of Clinton Corners, died Friday, Sept. 2 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck.
He was born June 29, 1953, in Albany, the son of the late Thomas J. and the late Mary Elizabeth (Starr) Nocket.
He worked for Local 21 Plumber/Steamfitter Union. He liked to golf, loved going to the gym and riding his bike on the rail-trail and walkway.
He is survived by his son, Paul Robert Nocket of Camarillo, Calif.; sisters, Kathryn Nocket and Mary Beth Nocket, both of Hyde Park; brothers, Thomas Nocket and his wife Patricia of Staatsburg, Michael Nocket of Poughkeepsie, Edward Nocket and his companion Mary Vogel of Poughkeepsie and John Nocket and his wife Angela of Highland; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher and his wife Alicia, Taylor, Casey, P.J., Tommy, Amber, Heather and Dara.
Calling hours will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main St., Poughkeepsie. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
