Poughkeepsie Resident Cindy Marie D’Amato Dies At 31

Cindy Marie D’Amato of Poughkeepsie died on Monday, Nov. 20. She was 31.

Cindy, who was born on April 12, 1986, in Cocoa Beach, FL, had a fearless and inviting personality. Her vibrant smile made her stand out in a crowd. She gave unconditional love and great laughter to everyone.

Cindy’s passion for cooking, reading Urban Romance books, her cats (Cheddar & Zane) and most of all life have provided memories that will last a lifetime for her family and friends.

Cindy will be greatly missed by everyone especially her boyfriend Matthew D’Afflitto, her sisters Holly Arano (David), Maryann Wood (Edward), Lottie D’Amato, brothers Michael D’Amato, Anthony D’Amato (Martha), John D’Amato, James D’Amato (Charlene), Patrick D’Amato, Joseph D’Amato (Amanda), James Godsey, (Karisma) Shawn D’Amato, several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cindy was pre- deceased by her parents Biagio A. D’Amato and Patricia A. Pasco.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home at 371 Hooker Ave. in Poughkeepsie. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
