MILAN, N.Y. -- Mary L. Clarke, 70, of Milan, died Wednesday, Sept. 7. She was 70.
She was born Sept. 13, 1945 in Greenwich, Conn.
She was a longtime Milan resident and worked in food service at Bard College for 25 years until her retirement in 2011.
She is survived by her husband, William B. Clarke; children, William (Amy) B. Clarke, Jr., Christine (Tim) Thompson, Susan (Ray) Merrihew, and Mary (Matthew) Brown; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Michael (Noel) and William (Doreen).
She was predeceased by a son, George; a grandson whom she raised, Andrew Clarke; and a brother, John.
Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck. Funeral services will be held at, 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Milan Union Cemetery.
